Barry John Freeman, MD
Dr Barry John Freeman is a native Californian, born and raised in the Los Angeles area. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from UCLA and his Doctor of Medicine degree from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine in 1980.
Following medical school, he completed a surgical internship at The Albert Einstein College of Medicine Hospitals in the Bronx, New York, then returned to Los Angeles to complete a residency in Anesthesiology at the LAC-USC Medical Center.
Dr Freeman has been a practicing clinical Anesthesiologist in the Southern California area since 1984 and served as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine/Anesthesiology at the LAC Medical Center-USC School of Medicine from 1991-1996. He currently practices in Beverly Hills, California, and is the Director of Anesthesia Services for Restore Worldwide, a non-profit organization that provides free reconstructive surgery for disadvantaged populations throughout Africa.
